As part of your language and cultural stay in the UK, we invite you to discover one of England’s most historic and beautiful attractions.
Hampton Court Palace is a historic royal residence with a rich history, including being the home of Henry VIII and all six of his wives. Originally construction by Cardinal Wolsey before being taken by Henry VIII, its expansion under William and Mary, the addition of massive Tudor kitchens, and the inclusion of features like the Great Maze and the world's largest grapevine. It was opened to the public in 1838 and is now managed by the charity Historic Royal Palaces.
The huge garden is also a great place to enjoy the fresh air, relax with your friends, and experience the peaceful beauty of the English countryside. Bring your lunch or enjoy a snack at the café – and don’t forget your camera!
