If you are travelling as part of a group and staying in a homestay, you will normally be met at the airport by a CES courier.
Your courier will guide you to your pre-booked private coach, which will take your group to the CES London school, where you will meet the Accommodation Officer or another CES staff member, along with your homestay hosts.
For smaller groups or groups arriving at late or early (anti-social) times, you will be met at the airport by CES’s designated taxi company and travel directly to your homestay in shared taxis.
Upon arrival at the school, homestay hosts will collect you and take you to your accommodation.
You will complete your induction at the school with the Accommodation Officer or another CES staff member.
During this session, you will receive important information and materials for your stay, including ID badges and travel guidance.
Hosts will normally:
Pick students up on arrival
Drop students off on departure
If a host is unable to provide transport, CES will arrange a taxi. The host pays for the taxi, never the student.
If you are staying in a homestay, your host will bring you and your luggage to the CES London school on the day of departure.
A private coach will then take your group to the airport.
Groups are advised to purchase Zones 1–4 Travelcards, which cover all journeys between homestays, CES London, Wimbledon, and central London.
Coaches can stop at designated points near the CES London school.
For larger groups or multiple coaches, CES will advise the most suitable stopping point in advance.
