When in Wimbledon why not take the opportunity to play a match in the home of tennis!
The history of Wimbledon began in 1877 when the All England Croquet Club held its first lawn tennis tournament, featuring only a Gentlemen's Singles event won by Spencer Gore. The tournament has since grown into the world's oldest and most prestigious, adding the Ladies' Singles in 1884, and eventually relocating to its current Church Road grounds in 1922.
CES Wimbledon has membership at a local tennis club which is only a 5 minute walk from our main school.
